I know I said I'd never get another mare again, but...
When looking for our new horse, it was important to find one that my husband really connected with. I looked for several months to find the perfect horse; one that would make him share my love for all things equine. And just as I was beginning to think we'd never find the right horse, along came Bella.
She was the wrong age, the wrong gender, the wrong color, the wrong name (our Rottweiler's name is already Bella) and out of our original budget, but there was just something about her.
So stay tuned to see how Bella grows and Mark works to learn the love of horses!

What a beautiful horse!!
What's the temperament like (generally speaking) for the breed and is there any sport in particular they're often used for? How big is she and how's she fitting in with the others so far? Congratulations!
Thanks Karen! Friesians are generally known for their gentle temperament and versatility. Friesian Sporthorses are the result of crossing a Friesian and another breed that builds on the qualities of the Friesian, and Bella was actually bred to be a driving horse.
Bella has a very gentle nature and gets along well with all other horses, so she has been doing well so far. Lyric, on the other hand, is still working out the details :)
I belive Bella will grow good!. You don't worry!!!
